League Season Overview

The Bluejay Basketball Club League Season provides Bondurant young athletes an opportunity to develop their skills, gain confidence, compete, and spend valuable time in the gym—all in a positive, supportive environment right here in Bondurant.

Our League Season runs throughout November and December and is designed to give athletes consistent practices, game experience, and skill development before moving into the more competitive portion of the basketball season.

For players and families who wish to continue, the League Season provides a natural pathway into our January–February Tournament Season, where teams compete in more competitive weekend tournaments. Participation in the Tournament Season is requires players to play in our league season. Following league season - we will have a signup for Tournament Season, which may require additional tryouts as well.

We work alongside the Bondurant-Farrar High School basketball programs to emphasize the fundamentals, habits, and style of play that help build a strong and sustainable basketball program from youth through high school.

Cost: $120 per player

2026 League Season Overview

Practices

Practices begin the week of October 26, 2026.
Teams will typically practice twice per week, with approximately 15 practices throughout the season. Practice schedules are determined based on team and gym availability.

Games

League games begin November 14, 2026.
Each team will play 10 games over five weekends, typically playing two games each weekend.

Who Can Join?

The League Season is open to boys and girls in 3rd–6th grade.
Bondurant players must attend Bondurant-Farrar schools or reside within the Bondurant-Farrar School District.
Our locally hosted league includes a total 64 teams from Bondurant and surrounding communities, providing our players with quality competition without the need for extensive travel.

Tournament Season

Following our November–December League Season, players looking for a higher level of competition can continue into our optional January–February Tournament Season.
Tournament teams travel to tournaments throughout the area, providing players an opportunity to compete against stronger competition.
Depending on interest and team numbers, tryouts or evaluations may be needed to form teams.
